The Manthoppu area surrounding AaraGrove is a quiet stretch of unspoiled nature — rolling hills draped in mist, dense sandalwood groves, and open meadows that catch the first light of morning. It is the kind of landscape that slows you down and makes you look twice.
From the property you can watch the valley fill with clouds at dusk, hear the forest come alive at dawn, and step into trails that wind through some of the most serene terrain in the Western Ghats. Manthoppu is not a destination — it is the view from your window.

Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary – Night Safari
Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, just a short drive from Marayoor, offers a rare night safari through one of Kerala's most biodiverse dry deciduous forests. Spot elephants, leopards, spotted deer, and the endangered grizzled giant squirrel under the stars.
The night safari is operated directly by the Kerala Forest Department and is charged separately — it is not included in your room rate. We are happy to help you book and arrange transport. Permit fees and timings are subject to the Forest Department's schedule.
